FAQ

What's Syntacs?
Syntacs is an evidence-based resilience audit for companies. We combine validated psychological measures with self-reported physiological data to give your leadership team a clear picture of what's driving, or draining, performance in your organisation.
How is this different from a regular wellbeing survey?
Most wellbeing surveys measure how people feel. We measure resilience specifically, with validated research instruments, not a generic satisfaction poll. We also combine that with a physiological marker, which most workplace surveys don't include at all.
Who is this for?
Companies with 100+ employees, run by leaders who want a clear, data-backed picture of organisational resilience, not a generic wellness programme.
Is it anonymous?
Yes. Results are analysed and reported at team/department level only. Any group smaller than 5 respondents is merged or excluded from breakdown reporting, so no individual can be identified. All data is handled according to GDPR.
Do employees need a smartwatch or fitness tracker?
No, it's optional. Those who already track HRV or recovery on a device can share a single reading; everyone else simply completes the survey.
What is the "founding pilot cohort"?
We're currently accepting a limited number of companies into our first pilot cohort, at founding-partner pricing. This reflects your role in shaping our process, not a discount on its value.
What do we actually get at the end?
A clear picture of where your organisation stands on resilience, sleep, activity, and psychological safety. This is benchmarked against published norms. You also get a prioritised, practical roadmap your leadership can act on.
Is this based on real research?
Yes. Every measure we use is a validated, published instrument (e.g. the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory, Edmondson's Team Psychological Safety Scale). Syntacs is founded and operated by an active researcher in stress resilience and psychophysiology.
How long does it take?
The survey takes most employees under 10 minutes. The full process, from launch to delivered findings, typically takes a couple of weeks, depending on adherence and response speed.
